It is also possible to search through and access all dissertation theses from all Turkish Universities (including Dokuz Eylül University Health Sciences Institute) via the centralized Database of National Thesis Center of the Turkish Council of Higher Education. Its Internet address is https://tez.yok.gov.tr/UlusalTezMerkezi/tarama.jsp
This webpage has two language options: Turkish and English, selectable by clicking on the little flags on the top right hand side, and the results are shown in both languages if it is available.
In order to filter only the theses published in our institute, the user needs to select these two parameters on the page as “University=Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi” and “Institute=Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü“. Additionally, under the heading “Department”, the user may choose for basic medical sciences: “Temel Tıp Bilimleri Bölümü”, for nursing choose “Hemşirelik”, for physiotheraphy and rehabilitation “Fizik Tedavi ve Rehabilitasyon” etc.
The system has a membership option. If you are a registered user and sign in to the system, you can access full-text (allowed by their authors to be published on Internet). It is only possible for unregistered users to see the basic information such as the title and the abstract.
Finally, in order to view the website at its best, users are recommended to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers.
